Dr. Margaret Grothe
DentistDr. Maggie Grothe grew up in Barrington, IL wanting to become a country music singer. After taking a human physiology class her senior year of high school, she discovered her passion for the complexities of human physiology and healing the body. When she was introduced to dentistry, she fell in love with the unique combination of art and science and the ability to be proactive, not reactive, in her treatment. After working in the dental field for a few years, and at a total of 7 different offices, she was unhappy with the standard of culture and patient experience in other practices. With encouragement from her husband, Ben, she founded Root Dental to deliver the care she knows her patients deserve.
